Anthony Royd is more than a name; it is a gateway to a new understanding that much of what we have been told is ‘misleading’ at best and ‘false’ at its worst. The pseudonymous figure allows me to navigate the realms of social and economic commentary in the heart of Britain.

Behind this pen name is a seasoned Business Consultant, who has for over twenty-five years, carved a successful path in the corporate world and major government departments, as business analyst and consultant.

Notable mentions in his portfolio include engagements as an International Tier1 Consultant with package expertise primarily in procurement and financial systems, into a variety of multi-national companies and business sectors, including Government, National Agencies, Financial (Insurance), Commercial, Media, Aerospace, Electronics, Electromechanical, Energy, Defence Contractors, Research and Development.

His journey has been marked by the successful shaping, launching, and delivery of large-scale workstreams, coupled with a propensity for tackling complex engagements.

He enjoys creating teams, fostering knowledge-sharing culture amongst entire teams, to successfully deliver national and global solutions, on time, within price and above client’s expectations.

To my friends that tell me they don’t do politics; well, ‘neither do I’.  While there is some overlap between political commentators and social and economic commentators; with political commentators occasionally discussing economic and social aspects and vice versa, their primary focus areas remain distinct.

My focus will be on the causes of ‘Broken Britain’ and the failure to deliver the rewards of Brexit and to propose alternatives. I have published the first two articles to establish my credentials and prepare the ground for alternative solutions that are intended to challenge the status quo.

Between articles I will comment on the wider social and economic issues; propose solutions that align with the principles of sustainable growth, equality, and local conditions, such as health, education, employment opportunities, housing affordability, and community engagement.

At no point, will any details of clients, current and former, be revealed, as all references and data will be in the public domain.
